Clay or earthen pottery and utensils, when used for cooking, drinking, and storage purposes, reduce the acidity level of victuals (food and drink), as clay is alkaline in nature.
Clay pottery should not be kept empty and placed on the stove before cooking, as it might start to crack. There should always be some food or water in it.
Never place a hot clay utensil on a cool surface or in water, as this sudden temperature change might also result in cracking.
Try to avoid washing clay utensils with detergent or soap, as clay is porous and will absorb chemicals. Wash them with hot water and a gentle brush.
If you receive a damaged product, let us know within 48 hours of receiving the product and we’ll get it replaced as soon as possible. And while using it, it will survive everything except slippery hands!
We check, re-check, and then check again before we ship. Yet, it does occasionally happen that you may wish to return your purchase. We are happy to accept returns of any damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
We request you to send us the image of the damaged/defective product along with the order number at info@mitticrafthouse.com or call us at +91 88987 27888 within the first 48 hours post-delivery, and we will get back to you immediately.
Replacement is subject to the availability of the product in stock at the time the request is raised. If we are unable to provide you with a replacement, a refund will be initiated from our side and the amount will be credited back to your original mode of payment within 7–10 working days.
Shipping costs vary depending on location, and delivery time is typically 6–7 working days.
